VW polo 1.2 tsi Steering rack!

Help! My car is making a very loud clicking/knocking sound when I turn the steering wheel, both directions.. took it to VW and they told me that I have to replace the steering rack.. Anyone know a place around JHB/GP that specialises in repairing/replacing steering racks at a reasonable price??

They said they checked those and they are still ohk, it’s the steering rack that has a problem..

Wheel Alignment- 250

The rubber gaskets inside the rack were damaged.

i had a bad click on my polo gti 2012. i had it fixed under motorplan, but it wasnt that expensive.
Do the recon-second hand steering option, will be fine

I am having the same issue with my Polo. Can I ask how was the car fixed. VW qouted me R18K.
