VW Polo Vivo headlamp replacement

Hi everyone,

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to go about sourcing new headlamps for my Polo Vivo 2011?

Both headlamps looks old and scratched - so I thought I'd replace them. Just not sure where to buy new ones? I don't want to source expensive genuine parts from VW direct as the car is old and only used as a secondary vehicle.

Any suggestions?

Have you tried buffing and polishing the current headlights?

You can just get your headlights restored, no need to replace them.

Do you still get glass? Most of the cars I see today are all plastic.

This works well but horribly over priced, get the Shield kit instead, works as well and it’s a third of the price.

No all modern headlight lenses are Polycarbonate or a variant of that.

That's what I thought, the only difference is in the quality since clearly others are bad.

Grab them from the next Vivo you see, takes less than 10 seconds to pop them out.

Yeah, the quality is certainly not the same, my cousins Etios was hazy even before the car was paid off.

It's like VW expect the headlights to be stolen before that
