VW service - Centurion

Hi all

Looking for a place to service my 2011 polo. It needs a cam belt change too, and I'm not keen on getting shafted by the stealerships this time.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good service centre around Centurion?

Yeah I've been there before - their service is great. Phoned them just now and they want to charge R2k for the service, and R4,5k for the cam belt

Also, I just called Car Service Centre to request a price, and they told me I don't have a cam belt, I have a chain

On my 2011 TDI Polo VW quoted me 6k for just the cambelt. (The service was another 4k) Eventually bought my own belt from Goldwagon at 2.8k (incl all pulleys etc.) and had it done by an ex-vw mechanic for 1k labour. But i am in cape town.

Google your engine number and you will see if its a chain or belt.
