Good day all members,
my vw polo classic 2003 is driving nicely but after some kilos you park nicely and when i need to start again it doesnot. i have to wait for maybe 30 minutes or more before it start and run. please advise what could be the problem?

Force a potato into the exhaust pipe. This helps build up compression in the engine. As soon as it gets high compression it will start.

sometimes yes and sometime no

does it click click click when "sometimes no" and turn the engine when "sometimes yes"?

is it a 1.4 8v petrol? BLM engine? those crank sensors are about as reliable as eskom, fixed to the rear main seal.... BS job, top tip, if it is your sensor.... replace rear main housing and sensor with OE products, not any aftermarket stuff

thanx for support chief

My bet is its your battery terminal clamps that are not tightened or it's not making proper contact with the battery itself.

eish i got the course of the whole thing after spending so much money , it was the fuel pump that looked so tired. it was replaced and the car is now running pecfectly and powerful.thanx for the inputs and your time. thumbs up.

Good for you but something does not add up,

I cannot think of any good reason why a car with a faulty fuel pump would refuse to crank?

My BMW had an intermittent fuel pump problem that would only flare up when the car was warm.
