What are your opinions on this consumtion wise?
I need to find a decent vehicle to guys to be on the road, for short and long distance travels, concerned about running costs specifically.
Is there another vehiclke that compares?

Well for the price and performance what else compares to it?
I dont think there is anything on the market that compares to it, or am I wrong?
It's a regular 1.0l like many others on the road? I am sure there is nothing exceptional about the price and performance.

If the Duster is out of your price range, the Sandero is a decent alternative.

Bigger than the UP! in the passenger compartment and luggage wise, the turbocharged engine provides more power and running costs aren't particularly bad, it shares the engine with the Clio, Captur, Micra (new one) and some of the Smart cars. Decent crash protection rating and apart from ABS and hill start assist, it also has ESP/traction control and with some know how and a OBD tool you can activate tyre pressure monitoring if that's your thing.

The UP! has it beat on airbag quantity (2 vs 4/6 if I'm not mistaken). Not having driven an UP!, I cannot comment on interior quality or ride comfort but the UP! is apparently superior there too. But despite the hard plastics in the Sandero, nothing really rattles.

Nothing compares to the up! in terms of safety for that class: 4 airbags, esp, hill hold and importantly decent euro ncap (5 stars when it was launched). Interior quality is good and the ride particularly comfortable for such a short car. Down side is that it is small and discontinued so simple items may be agents only (don’t believe the BS that they keep ALL parts for 10 years after discontinued, it’s only the most basic they may have access to). Also, not sure what’s your budget to recommend alternatives.
