W8960N Wireless-N ADSL router

Hi there people.
I need to know the following please. I have 1 meg line with mweb, and use my old 8 year Marconi Telkom router.
I read about the new W8960N Wireless-N ADSL router, and was thinking that if I will see any difference with line speed or connection, besides the wireless option this router has built in.
What I actually ment was, will it benefit me in any way to upgrade to this new router??

I won this router here (MyBB comp) and am extremely happy with it. It redlines my 1Mb/s line!!

I highly doubt that you'll see any improvement with your download/upload speeds when you're going to replace the Marconi with that TP-Link modem, unless perhaps your SNR margins are currently below like 10dB.

If I recall correctly, the Marconi modems had pretty good SNR margins compared to some of the other modems.
