anybody else experiencing this? just over a week ago I thought somebody was using getting into my WIFI and using my data...over 8Gigs were used in less than a weekend...Called WA and they claimed that nobody else was using my line and that I should check my WIFI settings...I then upped my WIFI security and enabled DSLsecure so that only my line can access this account.

Now today I see that almost 2Gigs were chowed. I'm very conscious of data usage and I'm really beginning to think that this is either an inside job or WA is having a problem with their bandwidth usage display.

Is anybody else experiencing this? anyone from WA care to explain or assist?

My usage looks pretty much as expected.

No viruses or malware such as win updates? ;)

I had the same problem over a year ago, the culprit was "Google Desktop" - after uninstalling it my bandwidth usage returned to normal

Very possible it is something on your pc/network that is chowing the usage. Virus's and Trojans can be culprits, especially those sending out constant spam emails or trying to spread themselves to other hosts on the internet ect.

WA?

I had 2 GB disappear off my axxess account since yesterday and I have vIP lock enabled. Usage was downstream and I don't know what the hell could have chowed it.

Hi 8=>moklet

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

I am not aware of any issues on the dsl console with the usage graph.

If you could please pm me your client code, I will gladly investigate your account for you.

Thank you.
