so i've heard these things are better than sliced bread in a graphic designers life... Anyone can provide more insight into this? Where to buy, which size, cheapest price, etc... Any info wud be appreciated. Looking to get an A5 size but an A6 is also on the list cos of the price diff..

My brother who is studying multimedia needs it for his work all the time.

I played with it to play around with the handwriting features and that takes a while to get used to.

If you are serious about graphics and the type, you might want to look at the more expensive Intuos range because that apparently allows more control (something about more pressure points?).

Don't know anything about pricing though.

I have a Wacom Graphire. Its definitely worth the money, but the mouse is crap. I use a logitech mouse with the tablet on the side
I used mine solidly for a couple of years, but I havent used it for ages, almost time to pack it away I think

The new Wacom Bamboo looks awesome tho!

These things are blerry xpensive.. Around R2500 for an a5 bamboo pen n touch... On amazon its 200 dollars.. I guess with shipping n duties it will come to the same thing..

We get those A5 ones for about ~R2400 and the A6 ones for ~R900 through our company. Quality stuff imo.

I miss my WACOM tablet, had the Cinteque(sp?) sold it when I fell on hard times :(

I got my sister a R500 tablet at Esquire. It's not a Wacom, but it's pretty much 99% as good. And yes we've used Wacom.
