Hey there fellow internet users...
It's been how long since adsl has been introduced to the market and I still can't have any service where I am situated... [V]I live in the west coast. Telkom's site states service will only be available by March 2006, but my local telkom branch says by the end of december for Vredenburg... and another year for my location... but.. I am 10km's from Vredenburg.. how can that be possible? A YEAR? for 10 extra km's?
I know there's alot of dispute about adsl, but then again, we should realise that, It's still 24/7, and it's still broadband, and remember, this is the first adsl service in South Africa, of course it'll be crap, but it will only (hopefully) improve, that's how everything starts... has anyone have some inside info why availablility is so slow?
