So I made use of the Closer 2 loophole and had my line installed on Thuesday. I ordered my ADSL Self install yesterday... The guy said it could take up to 24 working days, thats 5 weeks for a freaking Self Install? Is this right? How long does it usually take?

Mine took about 2 weeks i think.

i also closer 2 , once the techie installed the line and left i called Telkom to order my adsl 512. i then went out for an hour or so, wen i got back did the self install and its worked. it normaly takes 24 hours not 24 days...my2cents
