Wake-up call

I agree... Bring in a foreigner... and give him full VITO powers!
He/she will transform this place in a matter of months...

Or after 3 months he'll realise what a killing he can make by keeping the prices high and the services low, and we'll just have more of the same.

Does no-one remember when SBC and their Malaysian friends ran Telkom???!!!

Either this September guy is really very good at what he does or every single report since last week is pu$$y-footing around him. I suspect the latter and can only wonder why?

Considering how Telkom has played share prices before, I wouldn't count too much into the share price fluctuations after Papi's resignation...

THERE is little more disconcerting for an executive than to see the share price of the company rise on news of your departure. That was what happened in the case of Telkom CEO Papi Molotsane’s “resignation” last week, giving credence to rumours that had been bouncing around the market for some time.

Coudn'nt have happened to a better @hole.

And remember when SAA brought in that american nobber (Tom Somethingortheother) who inflated SAA revenue by selling off all their assets (and collecting a monster performance bonus in the deal) Would have been pretty funny at the time if he hadn't been ripping off our tax money

i think there are plenty able SA execs who could fill the post but most would be unwilling due to all the political BS going on behind the scenes

Coleman Andrews - Walked away with close to 300 Million, and a fair bit more for his pals as well

Also first CEO of Telkom was Tom Barry.... now gone back to USA

Funny thing is if us mere mortals try and leave the country we are only allowed to go with under one Million
