Internet is so BAD, I am on my way to door and then find myself on the other side a wall.
Do you call this speed best effort?

How about I put my foot up your ass as deep as I can then call it best try.

Your best effort is not best enough if you take my full amount month end while only giving 10% service. You should be jailed for fraud.

Look at the command window. Meaning you can not even provide proper MIMO support.

If you work for these animals then your just as bad as they are.

This should be proof enough that no one should buy a rain sim card. Yeah, you gonna get high speeds the first month. After awhile the big boss gets bonus and not care anymore.

This is my router sim connection status.
With the original firmware I can only get band 3 working. Band 3 in gaming = 100+ ping rate.
With this test firmware I can lock band 38 giving me about 35ms ping.
Also my antennas is designed for 2300mhs+ and can not receive 1800mhs signal.

Not like a care, even a wide band antenna will never catch band 38. So band 3 can burn for all I care.

Get fibre as soon as infrastructure has been installed.
For a R100 more you can get the same speed without the hassle of setting up antennas or ever hear the phrase our network is currently congested. (Get some Vicks for that congestion).

I would have replied earlier but I had to wait for my signal to be exchanged at the hub.

Well now, I get 26% of what I am paying for. Problem here is the high ping rate during the test. Pings before that was at idle PC.

Dude stop complaining and moaning if you can’t fix it just move to another provider no one is forcing you to use rain you just moaning about something you don’t understand that’s it …

Pings will always be slow under full network load, like during a speed test.

You just replying to some thread you don't understand. This is where I am documenting my experience. So others can make informed decisions.

Have you seen the new openview wifi advert on tv. Do they say anywhere on the advert that you must buy vodacom data bundles? The product should be advertised as a router.

Exactly my point, it maxed out at 26%
Not really. If you were getting 10mbps, your pings would still be slow *during* the speed test, as it uses all available bandwidth, regardless of how much bandwidth there is. ICMP is low priority traffic.

So yes, your speed is not good. But the poor latency during speed tests is a result of said speed tests.
