Wall mount / closed patch panel

Another alternative that is a bit more on the expensive side is the vertical wallmount sever racks from Startech and then add standard server rack component to it. 1U unit and 2U unit.
 
I would stay away from any patch panels where you still use a punchdown tool etc. Prone to failure after a while due to exposure etc.

I haven't used them for many years now.

Rather look at a 24PORT Unpopulated Patch Panel in which you insert CAT6 Shielded Inline Couplers.

So instead of punching down little wires, you just crimp all cables and plug them in.

Wow that's extremely expensive for what is basically an open shelf !!

Might as well buy a proper wall box then:

I was thinking of doing this but more ghetto like.

Just get basic inline couplers and use a nice looking electrical wall box to hide the cabling

All the cables are already crimped so this may be the easiest way

So why refer to a patch panel in the OP then?
