Wally Beelders is the new Executive Director: Commercial at Vodacom's new company looking after WiMAX, ISP (Internet Service Provider) and VPN (Virtual Private Network) business for Vodacom.
Wallace Beelders was appointed chief sales and marketing officer at Telkom in December 2005. He joined Telkom in 1977 and previously held the position of managing executive for corporate, key and global markets from October 2004 to November 2005. Before that, Mr Beelders was managing executive of international and special markets from December 2000 to September 2004. He holds a Masters Diploma in Technology from the Pretoria Technikon.
Wally recently resigned from Telkom and will join Vodacom where he will look after broadband and "virtual private network" (VPN) initiatives for the cellphone group.
