Wan devices appear on my router list

I have a strange issue on my Asus AC68u Router. My router is directly connected at the WAN port to the antenna of Herotel and I am using PPPOE and then I receive a public IP which I have with them. My router is in Router mode and also acting as a DHCP server for my LAN devices. For some reason certain devices of Herotel is then also appearing on my devices list of the router. I cannot ping that IP address of that specific Herotel device showing on my device list too. I believe that my router is is handing out IP addresses through the WAN port which I cannot think is even possible. My current router is 192.168.100.1 but I have changed it to other ranges as well with the same effect. When I am using Adguard Home on a Raspberry PI as my DHCP server, I don't have this problem. So I was just wondering why is this acting this way?

Don't think they are using my internet. It is all Mikrotik devices. I just decided to use Adguard Home as my DHCP server and disable my DHCP server on the Asus router then the devices does not appear on my devices list. Not sure what is causing this issue within the router though...

You Asus router is seeing the LLDP beacon frames from the Mikrotik. Those devices are not necessarily interfering with you just saying hello.
Herotel should have their WAN network on client isolation. They not they only ones though with kek cybersecurity as someone with ettercap can hack you.

Thanks for the clarification. Well to explain this to them will not be a easy task. If that is how their network is set up then it is not just me having this problem but other as well.

You Asus router is seeing the LLDP beacon frames from the Mikrotik. Those devices are not necessarily interfering with you just saying hello.

I wonder if there is a way to block this on the Asus firewall. Is there a specific port been used by the LLDP?

LLDP is a layer 2 protocol so it would need to be a custom setting somewhere in the firmware.

Thanks for the clarification. Well to explain this to them will not be a easy task. If that is how their network is set up then it is not just me having this problem but other as well.

I'm sure their network is capable of client isolation and they just to kaksleg to implement it.
