"Afrikaans Uber" Wanatu is back

Afrikaans-focused e-hailing service Wanatu has resumed operations after securing an urgent interdict against the Tshwane Metro Police Department (TMPD) over the impounding of its vehicles.

The North Gauteng High Court has barred the department from impounding e-hailing vehicles in the city for failure to present road carrier permits until the provincial government resolves a backlog in permit applications.
