want an Archos 101!

I've been looking at getting an apad, the ipad is too expensive and restrictive! The Archos 101 looks really nice, and is advertised for $299 in the USA, so how come their local branch can get it for R3900??!! That's like almost double!!

Any suggestions as to where I can get it, or good alternatives?

Import it yourself, should work out cheaper.

Sites like Expansys put huge mark-ups on goods that are not officially available here to take advantage of people who wont import it themselves.
