I am looking to neaten up my home setup and network cables. I will take your suggestion and get a new patch panel. I do not have space for a network cabinet and currently have a bookshelf unit housing all my Ubiquiti kit and will use the patch panel to tidy all cables. The cables are all gathered on the left of the switch and it just looks untidy. I am very pedantic about my network setup.

What I did once was get a piece of pine strip, paint it and then drill a bunch of holes. Then each cable I attach with a cable tie through 2 holes. That was I saved on patch leads.
