Wanted: 386 - Pentium 1

Looking for an old pc, you might have one in the garage.

Want to play some old dos games, and dosbox is not doing it for me.
anything between 386-Pentium
Ideal: Pentuim with a sound blaster and a voodoo graphics card.

I have some Pentium 1 motherboards,can add a PCI Videocard for you, I can trade, at the moment I am looking for some good ATX video cards, but I am open to anything else you might have?

Anything 3DFX voodoo at the moment has sky rocketed in price, but if you get a modorate OpenGL or DirectX card you can use wrapper.

Do you have a AT case and power supply, only the much later P1 boards had ATX and sadly they wont fit in a ATX case?

Alternatively a Pentuim-2 233to333 might work a bit better for you will run windows 9x , and the larger majority of old games , you can even disable the cache and it will perform like a 386 but it has the advantage of having ATX and PS2.

I highly recommend getting the 600mhz Celeron because you can easily change the cpu to something a bit better and it will be more in line with something that can do 3D gaming , you dont actually get the performance out of a Voodoo1 untill you hit the 300mhz mark a Voodoo2 till you hit the 500mhz mark.

I currently only have a pentium 4, lying in pieces, with a 128 mb agp graphics card and some other parts, which together will make a full pc. an external quad speed creative labs cd rom, a bunch of hard drives.
2x core 2 duos, one working and one in pieces. an nvidia 8800gts
a 2nd gen I3 which I built a wooden case
an i5 laptop with a broken screen that i`m using for a htpc.
this pc (no trade)

Actually I might be interested in that Pentium 4 if it is a full size motherboard with sata, or the 128mb AGP GFX card depending on what it is feel free to message some pictures
