The subject says it all, but I wanted to know if any myBB'ers would know where I could find a very old phone, I have been looking for this phone for over 3 years.

Ericsson T28s, a very small compact phone, I have looked everywhere, the only place that I could vaguely find it was some Chinese site (alibaba.com) I think that was the link, but you are required to order 100+ as a minimum order.

If anyone would have an idea where to go and get that particular phone, preferably locally (South Africa - JHB) would be a lot more convenient.

I found one for you!!!

When I first seen this thread, I said to myself that you looking for "hoender tande", and thought it's impossible to get a new one locally. But look what I just found on Bidorbuy:

The auction says T28, but the pictures are of the T28s, so you might want to clarify this with the seller. Anyway, the only difference, according to the Gsmarena site is that they support different gsm bands:

So, if you really still want the phone, try your luck. Who knows, you might just win the auction.

Good Luck

Sorry couldnt help my self

Why do you want one?

Reason I am asking this is because if you just want a small and cheap phone with tons of battery life go to pep and get one of the old nokias there.

I have one at home, cost R99, battery life is around 12 to 14 days.

I was thinking the same thing, but if you get a brand new unit, it would be a collectors item right?

In about 80 years time...

It would be better to get a first batch, commemorative (limited edition) or otherwise unique phone from todays stuff.
