Item Wanted: Basic flash that can be used on a Canon DSLR. I do not require TTL (if it has this feature that would be a bonus). Just a basic flash like the Neewer / Amazonbasics / Yongnuo et. al. found on Amazon for about $35 brand new.
Packaging Essential: Not necessary as long as you can bubble-wrap it and put it in a box for shipping.
Desired Age: Not older than 5 years unless you really look after your stuff. So not looking for something that has been lying in a box in your ceiling for 10 years.
