Wanted- Good Tablet

Looking for something with good battery life, good condition and which I can use for streaming, reading books and using CMS platforms when the power goes out.

Budget is 1k.

Let us know how that works out for you...my ancient Samsung died a while back...a friend left his Meccer tablet here when he left...what a POS that thing is..

Well I didn't need anything too advanced. I just wanted something I could use that could charge easily during Loadshedding, read e-books or to complete simple work tasks when on the road because carrying the laptop all the time is not ideal.

Plus, I needed something that could run my work CMS which my phone can't do but it can fortunately.

The only issue I've found so far is that the speaker sound is not the best but that can be rectified with my bluetooth speaker.
 
I've actually never had a problem with new tech, cords etc from Cash Crusaders. It seems like they are the best suppliers of budget tech in the country if not one of the best.

Ja, I also just need one for books.....And the occasional time waste browsing around while waiting somewhere...
The Meccer one is slower than treacle on a winters day...

My mother picked up a Redmi A9 for R1499 or R1599 from one of the Foschini stores for my father. With a over 6inch screen it can do the job of a tablet for most people

My Dixon going fine so far and saw others rate it well in Tablet threads here so that's why I got it.
