Wanted - Netbook with decent processor

I need a netbook for taking on travels. The ones I have looked at either have an ATOM CPU or a Celeron

Any suggestions please?

Cape Town preferred
 
There are no suggestions. Netbook = Atom / celeron = slow. If you throw 4 Gigs of memory at them, cut all the OEM crapware, and run them without an anti-virus, they can be tolerable.
 
A pity. I suppose the only small decent computer is an Airbook
 
Depends what you need it for, if your workload isnt too much then these types could work.

Im sure most tech guys here wont be happy with it, but in all honesty
runs all my software as well Excel and the usual things.
Its a semi-tablet (so its got touch screen and a keyboard).
The screen size is 11 inches, so its very light.
Also got about 4 hours of battery life, which is nice (more than my normal laptop).

Im quite happy with it but I believe you pay a big premium for HP,
Ive heard the Lenovo or Dell(?) one is cheaper and very much the same specs.
