Not necessarily.

The advert is actually for a friend, but my wife might be interested in that 32 because she's been begging for months for another TV. How much, and what's the age, model, etc :)

Don't do what? Lately I've gotten really into these living free documentaries like Mountain Men and Live Free or Die. The problem is she does not like it at all, so I need a STFU device.

Samsung H5100 (Full HD) 32" for R3500? couple of months old.

Bought it for PC gaming and then switched to xbox so I want something bigger :(

One would think that if you are buying something for your house then you would buy a product that is a bit more future proof, regardless of if your wife is angry or not...

You will find a use for it sooner or later as well...
 
That jvc not looking to good. But at that size. HD will not be a big thing. Bit old. What u hooking up to it? Your roku?

What JVC?

And I'm looking at getting a Roku (albeit a streaming stick) in the future, but for now I'm going to build a NAS together with SabNZBD + SickBeard + CouchPotatoe. This way she can watch her stuff on her TV and me in the lounge.

There's a Pex app for the Roku's which can then stream the series/movies from the NAS

meant lg. sounds fine then. for the price it perfect then. but go watch it in action first. you don't want a wife nagging about the picture in a months time. then again my one watches a fat bum tv in the room without a peep. :p
