I'm looking for a Seagate 500GB 7200.10 model number ST3500630AS

If you have one I am willing to buy it from you for a good price, or swap it brand new or higher capacity drive.

Hi Rogan. Unfortunately Budza's HDD didn't meet the exact requirements that I need. Do you have the following:

ST3500630AS
7200.10
Site code: TK (can be seen on label, important that it matches)

Please let me know. It's the heads I need so the drive needs to be in working order.

What did you pay and for what service?

For what it's worth, tons of people use SAPO's Speed Services overnight red bags (up to 1.5kg) for HDDs and other PC bits. R60 overnighted. Great service, never had a problem after sending loads of goods.
 
This was through Postnet, was sent on Fri from JHB and got here this morning in CT. I think it was R152? Not cheap. CourierIT were the ones who actually delivered it to me. Will invetigate Speed Services for next time.
I haven't powered the drive on yet to check if it survived the trip, but Rogan packed it in bubble wrap so it should be OK.

R145 for direct delivery to the door, R7.20 for a box and some bubble wrap :-)

My old man uses SAPO Speed Services quite a lot in his business, but I figured a hard drive deserved a bit better than SAPO.

I can vouch for speed services, been using them personally for years without incident including HDDs I had to send of head swaps etc. We also used them a lot at work to ship expensive kit like Cisco routers to site. Not one hickup ever unlike some of the more 'well regarded' couriers. I trust them.

I promise you if you package it right (bubble wrap followed by foam in a snug fitting box) it will be fine. Good packaging is required irrespective of the courier you use.
