Hi

I have a Dell GX 280 but the PSU popped. The Dell SFF chassis has a cut out for the psu so other psus do not fit as they have a switch. I tested the board and all other components are working fine. Drop me a PM

Any reason you need a Celeron 433 in specific?

Just the CPU or do you need a board as well?

I used to have one of these, not sure if the exact model but the thinner one that could lay on its side. A normal psu can fit if you are keen enough to take it out of its chassis and mount it that way, which you'll have to make work.

The processor on my PC has burnt out, not surprised as there was no thermal paste on the heatsink!

It's been in storage for some time but now I want to resurrect it.

The motherboard seems fine, I tried a 900MHz Celeron in it, it tries to run but hangs all the time, no doubt the rest of the components are not rated for 900MHz.

Thus I am trying to find the same speed processor as replacement. If there's a working motherboard going with it, I can keep it as a spare. The M/B should have an AGP and ISA slot.

Thanks nemo415, I will shoot you a PM shortly.

I kept the chassis open and tested with another psu, and it worked. I thought about using another case, but dell has it's own power button and reset switch connectors. So yeah it'll make work. But if I can revive the pc, someone can benefit

So the cable that goes from the mobo to the power button is a single rownof connectors for the front usb ports and power and led lights
