Hi guys

Not sure if this is the right place to do it, but if there are any ex-GW players out there who would like to sell me their account, I'd be keen to buy.

I would normally just buy a new key but frankly I am not sure how much I am going to use the second account.

Thanks

I think this is a tricky one for many players. I think the whole push in GW at the moment is towards moving players up the ranks to upgrade their characters for converting them when GW2 is released. Which means, even a player who has not played for a long time, and is not interested in GW, would still want their account to claim some "rewards" in GW2. So what you need is someone who is not intrested in moving their account from GW1 to GW2, and/or possibly has more than one account already, and is not going to bother moving the 2nd account over to GW2. I think most games with sequals, like Dragon Age 2, where having a first campaign account is no big deal, GW1 is unique with the massive drive to make having a GW1 "upgraded" account really worthwhile. Especially as the basic upgrade level is pretty easy to get to. Even though many consider the rewards a waste of time, everyone I know in the GW community is trying to achieve them... along with all they know.
Anyway, this I guess is useless info to you, so sorry for taking up your time, but I hope you do find someone willing to give up their account. What is the current cost now for a full game pack?

Thanks for the reply, and you are probably absolutely right. We'll see if anyone has had enough and not interested in having a notional linkup between the two games.

On Steam you can pick up the trilogy for $30, which includes the first three and not EOTN. EOTN alone costs a further $30. Otherwise there is the game of the year edition for $30, but it is completely unclear as to what that contains.... So I will probably just go for the trilogy at this stage if nobody wants to sell an account cheaper.

I have gone and picked up the trilogy on steam, so looking forward to getting back into it :)

Great :) I used my second account in the old days for storage, and also at times to play with an extra set of heroes. Nowadays with 7 heroes being allowed in for a single character, it makes doing that not so important. It also was a welcome to have a 2nd account when it came to mini pets... eight birthdays help a lot when you are collecting and selling the pets.
