WApp notification problem

I hope someone here can help me, my WApp msgs come through just fine, but for some reason it refuses to give an audible notification. It will vibrate, the pop-up notification will show, but no sound. I've gone as far as to uninstall WApp. And reinstalling it, no luck. I have double checked settings, changed the notification tone, everything i can think of.
Any advice?
