There's actually an interesting story in a recent Time magazine about how the US is aware that Russia is attempting to influence its election through all sorts of social engineering tactics.

Personally I think this is Putin just having some fun, figuring he's more likely to get what he wants (world war) with Trump at the help rather than Clinton, but who knows.

This is serious and Putin is not playing games. If you vote for Trump I'm telling you now, we WILL have war. Hillary at least will not back down and pussy foot around with Russia. So apart from the negligence scandal regarding the emails, do the Russians now have damning evidence against Clinton/US ?

Russia denies the hacking attack, and Western media seems to push the agenda that Russia is somehow admitting to it by saying that the U.S. can't prove anything yet and that it does not matter who did the hacking.

Could be wrong, but I think Russia is deliberately being pushed into a corner.

It's not that simple. What Trump wants is for the US to trim back it's foreign policy to a more isolationist approach. The net result of that is amongst others less meddling in other countries' affairs and less possibility for war.

Hilary (or the end of civilisation as we know it) wants to further the expansionist principles so as to keep feeding at the money trough provided by the military industrial complex, and this effectively means more war.
