War For The Overworld

Early Access, so no. I don't typically buy unfinished products.

Looks promising though, I loved DK and EA totally messed up the Android version.

Dungeon Keeper is great, on this we agree. But I don't buy unfinished products. I'd rather wait a few years for it to be finished and then decide if I want it or not instead of putting money down upfront. Unless a game has a spectacular beta, I'm not buying.

Anyone tried this game? worth $25?

Yes and definitely.

I can respect your opinion but I have to disagree with it. There are many games which have a lot of potential and deserve to be supported but which would never see the light of day if not for crowdfunding.

Resources are necessary to develop a game. Ordinarily those resources come from publishers but for that to happen, a publisher has to consider it worthy of investment (read: paying salaries and development costs in the hopes that when it goes on sale, it will recoup their investment and then some).

Instead of the publisher, we take on the responsibility (and the risk).

If everyone felt the way you do, none of these games would have a chance to exist.

Anyway, regarding War for the Overworld, it's shaping up to be a great game.

@OP - YouTube is filled with gameplay videos, so take a look and decide for yourself if you think it's worth supporting:

Not buying early access as well, Dayz taught me that lesson.
Not even pre-ordering a game again, Diablo 3 taught me that lesson.

Although should the general consensus, of the early adopters, be that the game is stable and complete, I might just.

How would you describe the game in terms of DK? Also how's updates, bugs, game play etc.

Bought 3 early access games. No regrets so far.

Honest reviews from those who already bought it + videos all over the internet is all you need to make the right choice. This is where the consumer ****s up, to be honest.

This game actually looks pretty awesome. Was looking at some game play videos a couple months ago.
