War3/Dota on US East server?

Im kinda bored of playin Dota on the local SA server..but apparently
it is possible to play on the US East server without much lag even on a 384 conn(my conn) .. any of u guys tried this server or any other server with success?? and do u need the original version to play on foreign servers?

You require original uncracked version but playing anything but normal warcraft and TD on the foreign servers is impossible. Don't even bother with Dota, you will be 2 seconds behind everyone else and die like a noob.

Solo and 2v2 etc is playable.

U won't be able to play dota i have tried on my 384k con to much lag.And u get kicked off games for high ping

Why are you bored with playing on the sa server? i dont think playing on a different server is going to change anything really?

dota- will be hard to farm gold with the lag, but normal wc3 is playable. I made the top 30 on the useast random team ladder playing on a 384 connection

Well i've played on the local server for quite a long time and jst wanted to c if players overseas play or think differently..

What you must know about overseas is that there are much more players, meaning many more noobs, quitters and w/e, I wouldn't touch it with a ten-foot clown pole. They don't even have AP system overseas.
