War3 problem with vista, pls help :D

I jus installed windows vista ultimate, but when i try to run War3, its gives me this 'The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log for more detail.'

please help
P.S. I dont cant re-install war3.

I don't have a problem.... Did you install it correctly? Do you have the necessary drivers installed (graphics and d3d)?

haven't seen that error before and have had my fair share of errors with vista and war3.

try this loader, as long as your installation is correct and all the required files are there - even if you have just copied the folder from another pc , it should also work with this :

Download the loader from there and it should work like a treat.

Go 2 www.war3.co.za/forum under technical support make a new thread there, or look at the threads already made there is a good chance that someone there already had this problem before and know how to fix it
