Seeing as you are buying a Citi Golf, yes, you need all the warranty, guarantee, medical aid and life insurance you can get with it.
That's not a bad price for a two year warranty and should be more than enough time to pick up problems related to abuse from the previous owner.
Is the distance unlimited?
No. Citi/MK1 spares are aplenty and parts are cheap.I am about to buy a Citi Golf from Mastercar and they have an optional 2 year warranty for 3800.
Is this worth it, should I take the warranty or just leave it.

It is a 2008 model with about 50 000 km on the clock.
The arguement about the parts being cheap is a valid one.
He could probably get a whole Citi Golf for R3800 there!Expecially in Cape Town, you can ask your neighbour for parts
Agreed, however when I say that I am the victim of a sex offender driving a kombi.I can't believe people are still buying a 1976 design today. That thing is a death trap. You don't need a warranty, pirate parts all over the place R50 for most parts.
