Not sure why mounts would cost more... Blizz has stated they dont want to make players spend more money on training...unless they plan on making passenger mounts need 375 training
 
Combat mount will cost a bit more, with skills capping at 450, riding skills will also follow. trust me you not just gonna walk in northernend and get a combat or passanger mount. Its gonna cost big time. Cant wait lol, saving already, even if it doesnt i will have the g to lvl my leatherworking.

Lol, combat mount...Im on a carebear server no need. Not too mention you'll only be able to use your FM at 67-68 (afaik after a quest)

Blizz have stated, mounts will not go faster than what they currently are (310% for Arena/Al'ar mount), so no point spending another 10k gp on mount training to become a taxi.
 
Blizz has also said that there will not be a new tier of riding skill. 300 is it, for now. The mounts themselves might cost a lot, of course.

As for amassing large amounts of gold: leveling two manufacturing professions in Wrath is going to be expensive. Enter the gold.

Saw a clip of the combat mounts. They would be needed for air2air npc combat to complete quests.

Lol, are you serious?

/sigh ill miss out on... 5 quests? if it was that important to get it, the combat mount will be cheap.
 
okay but im looking at that specific guide,,, nice tips and that posted, but i really want that specific guide because it is short ways to get like 200 gold,,, which is what i need not long lessons on what to do
 
Do your Shattered Sun dailes. you'll net a few greens and about 200g.

oh cool - I wasn't aware of that. As I've mentioned, I've only been at it for 2 weeks or so. I was just going on what I've heard about higher level gear...

I haven't gotten to that stage yet. What's the correct way to get epic kit though ? - So far I've only done about 3-4 BG's to collect honour points and general PvP experience.
 
Farm BG's till you have 75k honor, buy s1 (probably s2 if your a casual leveler) and instantly buy full purple pvp gear set at 70

The best way I have found is when you hit 70 hit the bg's. If you dont like doing bgs then dont do it. I like bgs so no problem there (AV Weekend FTW).

By doing that you can get decent gear. As i have said once you got a couple of descent items then you can start doing Heroic Instances (start out with heroioc Ramps). Then move onto kara. If you can your profession lets you make gear then use that. Then you can do Arenas too :) S4 staring out soon.

What is S1/S2? - I'm sitting on about 1000 honour points now - and I must say, I do enjoy the battlegrounds quite alot! (probably because we still haven't lost one - but i'm sure thats bound to change VERY soon!)

I'm still pondering if I shouldnt drop skinning for something else when i'm 70. - But i'm told the epic pickups are better than what you can actually make, so i'm in two minds - right now I'm going for the fun factor.

As for Kara - our guild is busy prepping its 70s for Kara. There's some site that evaluates your kit and lets you know what you need to be best suited for it (as well as where you've overspecced). We have a dozen or so 70s, but afaik Kara is a 25 man mission (like that Dragon near duskwood? close to Stormwind)

I take it Heroic instances = normal ones but on steroids ?

Kara is a 10 man raid. What armour does you toon wear, leather, mail, etc? They are half right about picking up epics. I got a BT LW design for leather shoulders. They are the 4th best shoulders for a rogue in wow atm. (Only cost me 1200g). do this make/buy - bg/arena - heroic - kara and so on. Dont disregard pvp gear. most of it owns pve gear. The Brutal set (Season 4) really owns. apparantly the one handed swords is better than the warglaives.

A cheaper alternative is just running Hc MgT for the Silvermoon Retainer Shoulders. They pwn anything in Kara and if you have Shard of Contempt they're only marginally less then T5 and better then the Hydross Shoulders.

True, if you dont want +hit rating. Assuming your a rogue? hit rating is rather valuable in pve isnt it?
