warhammer acc

Son, you have no clue, do you? You should have been there for WoW's launch. By the time we jumped on the Blizzy Bandwagon they'd had a year or two to iron out the kinks. WoW's launch made WAR look like a polished diamond in comparison.

What we should be looking for right now, is potential. WAR has it in spades. The fact that it is the most polished MMO at launch ever, is just a bonus.

I'm more talking about the fact you cant set AA in settings, no ingame latency monitor, and heck maybe its just me but I have encountered loads of starting quests being bugged, ( yes quests are bugged with mmo releases but not this many, esp for the start game area.

I was there for wow/gw/aoc launch I know the start is always hell no matter what game / company is behind it, as I said in my previous post, give warhammer a few months with the devs working on it and we'll have ourselves an awesome game.

AoC was smooth, till you got off Tortage. How many thousands of players didnt renew their subs? Hell even the Game director resigned.

Though its received many positive reviews from gaming journalists, its player base feels that they have been misled by both gaming journalists and Funcom itself.

Personally, the only positive experience I had in AoC were the first 20 levels.

Please take into account, WoW launched first in US/EU with 1.0, and SA only got WoW at 1.7-1.9 or so. So when we got it, it was alot more stable than when it was orginally released. Take a look at the archives on the wow forums, if it lets you back to 2005... Servers would go down for up to 2 weeks, lets not forget the infamous Corrupted Blood incident.

So i agree with Skurm. However its your choice to sell, if you dont get a sale here, try MyBB's classifieds section. Good luck

Why do people get so worked up?

Its pretty simple really. If you want to play War, go play war. If you want to play WoW, go play WoW. There is no reason to tune the one you dont play ever. yes you can say you prefer it, or whatever. But you guys are actually getting personal. Well as personal as you can on the internet.

what he said..

Well i am still playing both but since WAR is new most of my time goes into it.
And the low lvl pvp(rvr) is awesome.

I can never really tell before hand when ill get bored of something i may just wake up next day not feel like it anymore happened with wow too then i take a break.

Got my unshaped adsl line from good upgrade from 3g was so happy then i dced 3 times in both games in 1 night if theres one thing that anoys me more than any bugs in a MMO its SA latency.

AA i just enforce in nVida control panel, latency/fps monitor is truly minor in my opinion and will probably be patched in or a mod made for it soon enough, and I have encountered exactly ZERO bugged quests. Ever. Maybe your server is/was a little wonky.

Some of you werent a part of WoW release
Wars release has, in my 6 years of MMOing, been the smoothest
Ultimatly i think WAR will be a holiday before WOTLK. However the game has some excellent selling points.

And for those selving war because you got wtfOWNED at R2 in T1, i lol:D

Where were you when wow were released? I can't remember any issues, servers were stable only 2 crashes in the first month. Can recall only one quest bug (mage level 20 quest).
The fact that wow had several months of beta testing did help. If you were part of that beta testing you would know how bad it could have been.
War, etc have the advantage of being 3 years later, new PC technology, better internet and a wealth of knowledge learened from wow and even aoc. It is expected to be a lot smoother start. How fast they implement end game content will however be the base on witch the game will be a sucsess or not.

No, because WAR is not WoW. It's not a raiding tradmill.

Its different than wow.
Some like it some dont.
Best is if you try it out yourself.

Raiding is just one form of endgame... Economy or trading, PVP battles, instances, quests, etc. are all endgame options. These things keep people interested for months if not years, and is important to keep the player base.

Yes i was on WOW, 1 week after launch
Its was terrible, combat was completely fong kong, u didnt need to face the enemy to hit/cast AFAIR. There was a huge bug with rogue combat points and a few more i cant remember offhand.
I remember the servers coming down multiple times!

ANyway
War is not without its own problems. Not in terms of bugs but rather game play and the one which concerns me the most is what will happened topre T4 content/leveling once the majority hits T4/R40

Guess you were one of the unlucky ones to start out on the US realms. EU realms had a smooth start with the only major server crashes happening during the beta testing. Alpha were quite smooth part from the bugs, but we were a lot less people on wow Alpha at least.
