Anyone planning on trying this game out?

I have been playing the beta and it's fun but mostly connecting to EU people although at least the lag isn't that noticeable in this style of game.
You do host your own games so if more SA people play we wont have ping issues.

It comes out next week, but if you preorder you get the week long beta, which is basically just a head start.

The graphics seems inconsistent. Decent in one shot and crummy the next. And it seems you only fight demonic rats.

You might be right on the graphics side of things. I haven't exactly gone "wall licking" while in game to see, but generally the stuff you see the most often is high quality.

The rats are skaven, which are apart of the warhammer universe so this game is based around them and their different versions.
But it is a horde game so masses of the most common skaven is normal.

Got this the other day. Loving it so far. But be warned it's pretty difficult, especially if you aren't playing with a group of friends and have to rely on random pubs.

Loving the dwarf, smashing rats away from my party onto the ground while the bright wizard flash frys them... mmmm delicious

The dialogue between characters is also pretty funny at times.

Well ever since I found out that as of right now every game runs through the servers in the EU I just connect to UK games when there aren't any SA games and it runs perfectly fine.

But I have also once or twice got a game with new players and when they don’t listen and just want to kill everything then you know you wont win. Other then that both SA and UK pub games have actually been really great. Sure you'll only get one or two games with the same group before someone leaves, but I don’t really mind.

Funnily enough I was in a group the other day with a dwarf who really knew how to play and was the best tank, level 10+.
