Warhammer?

I haven't really played the game yet Either, so I have no Idea what to expect, All I know is that there will be less grind(Can level through Pvp) and a whole ding-dong-daddy load of actual World PvP.2 Area's I know WoW lack in.

true gotta give warhammer a chance.
That why i would like to get info from ex wow players thats playing it ATM.
Lets ignore bugs and patches for moment even though they are annoying and talk about how the game is?
 
I think they got the basics right.

PvP actually works WOOT !
You can lvl doing PvP WOOT !

They have PvE which is good enough for the PvE players. Going forward I can see them giving less attention to PvP as it is working, it needs no changes. And they can take the money we pay and build on the PvE side of things. They have a balance currently between PvP and PvE. All they need to do is build from it.

From all the reviews, there is no one class to kill another class. Lets say Rogue for Clothies and so forth. If you roll a priest you can kill anyone and anyone can kill you. It's all skill and luck.

I will give WAR a decent chance. And by that I mean getting rid of my WoW account. If I need to reroll to play WoW again so be it. But WAR I'll give a few months atleast ;)

Haven't seen that with WAR yet, but have done the same with other MMO's myself (Tabula rasa.... although I enjoyed the game, I seemed to enjoy WoW more).

Ill see it as R400 Demo :)

It will also differ from person to person and taste.

And were losing some guildies cause of it.

If it catches my intrest i may just put my wow acount away for while but i t will have be entertaining then.
 
Well this is where I believe WAR will deliver.
Back in naam I used to dream of epic scale warfare with two faction battling it out on different fronts with warriors in the front, mages at the back. You get the point.
Sadly thou wow never delivered this , AV imo, is wows biggest fail, it just never brought an epic feel.
Im hoping WAR will bring this to the party

As for WOW, WOW delivers the awesomeness of PVE, any MMOs developers ,who believe they can match WOW’s raid encounters / dynamics should just go sleep.

So now the only question that remains , is there enough time between life, love and everything else to play the two:confused:

Please do. I am keen to try it at some stage, but once the initial teething problems are sorted out.
 
The proof of the pudding will be 1-2 months after release. That's when the endgame content will either be keeping people, or driving them away.

Saw all the same "WoW is dead! Real PvP is here!" with Age of Conan. Mhm.
 
This reminds me of when WoW was released. We lost a lot of guildies from EQ. But there are currently more subscribers playing EQ nowdays than back then.

The point I am trying to make is that people will leave, people will stay. Some will come back, some will not. I bought AoC, tried it and didn't like it. I'll prolly give War a bash and will see how it turns out but I will be around for WOTLK.

As to ppl posting 'WAR is the WoW Killa!' or 'WAR is the death of WoW', exactly the same was said of EQ when WoW came out.

I only used EQ as an example as I had played it for many years but other examples could be made using UO, DAOC, AO, SWG. As far as I know, all these games are still running so they must be making cash.
