Guys i have only played warlock till level 15 but hunter up to lvl 66 how does the 2 compare is in leveling speed note i got all the heirloom items for a lock that i can buy chest, staff and shoulders?

Does it get faster after certain lvl?

As a Warlock, best is to play Affliction. Put your void on Passive, run around and dot as many mobs as you can, keep running till they group up nicely. When they are grouped up put you void on Defensive. He will taunt all the mob and then get range and AoE them down.

I did this one camp at a time :)

Ive leveled a lock to 80, and a tard to 66. Id say they about the same with speed, however i think the lock is a bit more exciting, specially after level 30 odd. You can pull groups of 5 or even more, no sweat!

And i didnt use my void after level 40 odd(or whenever you get dark pact) i used imp until 80 just about, mainly as my personal mana storage unit :)

My hunter got boring to be honest(Sorry Pornolio :P)

I like aoe grinding and i am tired of being the healer or tank got DK(Mainspec tank)Druid(Resto,Ballance) and priest(shadow,Disc) but i just wana hang back for a change and dps.

Can warlocks Solo elites at lvl 80?
I heard Lock suck at pvp lately but i dont care that much about pvp anymore did enough bg and arena to last me 3 lifetimes.

Warlocks can solo anything that is not immune to fear :D

I am busy leveling a lock at the moment. Gone Demon spec. Everyone suggest Affliction to level? Currently Level 43
I was thinking of going affliction till i can get demon form looks awesome.

Notherthing why have i never seen doomgaurds or those rock demons in 5 man dungeons being used by locks?

Sorry i ask alot of questions but i never had a lock past lvl 14.

I even got reported but the gms dont enforce the naming policy anymore.

Demon form is only for a rew seconds.

When I leveled still back in the day getting a doomguard had a penalty which could cause one of the group's people to die. They have since changed it but never used it.

I think the thing is as much as people say you must not race to L80 I am looking forward to raiding with my lock so don't want it to take ages. I have 2 of the pieces that give you +10% to xp so am leveling a little quicker but I find I have quite a bit of downtime when PVEing.

On a warlock? Downtime? Never :p

Lifetap and use drain life to top up HP, works like a charm and that is also why people say use Affliction it's less mana per Damage than any other build :)

Wait woot ? You have down time when you has life tap and drain life ...??!??

Hmfff warlock nubs... Hunter doesnt know the term downtime... locks still need to channel stuff to and via their pet.

We just run and pewpew... NO stops.

This changed.

Pets are automated now just like your Hunter pet. Only channel spell is the Health Funnel to heal your pet. But Locks do Instant DOTS and don't need to keep PEWPEW'ng while healing their pets :p

That being said, I like hunters tbh. Might roll one someday after my Druid and warrior :D

Hunter pets are very good nowdays...

The tanking pets can hold aggro very well on multiple mobs. When I do my speed run dailies @ argent tournament grounds, I just love the way my hunter goes on and on without ANY stops. Since MM does most of its damage with instant cast shots, there is no stopping even to cast one shot.

The AOE volleys do sick damage so I can take down 5 / 10 mobs at once my own level. If my hp gets low due to pulling aggro with aggressive volley sessions, hit deterrence and disengage and let the pet take em over again.

Doing TFA solo as a hunter is pretty simple nowdays...

Yeah but you do almost no dmg with aspect of viper on.

Depends on your gear... if you have **** gear yes... if you have semi-decent gear its not bad at all. Still do my 3 / 4k crits with AOTV on. Sure you wont see those 9 / 10 k crits, but at the rate the hunter fires its really not such a bad thing.
