Greetings Great & Groovy Warlocks! *waves*

Soo I've been away for a LONG time & did not know that Blizz was going to Reset the Builds after WoTLK came out.

I just purchased WoTLK today & found out that my poor Lock has had his build Reset.

I've been looking at WoW-Wiki for builds to use & have found some that I like.

I was thinking of going with this build here -

Please note I am NOT asking you which build to help me choose. But I need to know when I select my skills, since I am Level 70 which skills from the build above should I take from Level 1-70.

Do I start taking skills first in the Affliction tree then once everything is taken from there move to the Destruction Tree? Do I take a mixture of both?

What I am trying to say is that since I am level 70 & the build is for level 80, how do I know which skills to take first?

If someone can PLEASE help me, I would be gratefull!

I just took the talents I used the most and tried to maximize the DPS from those. I'm working on it now :o Give me a minute or 2
 
Shyt, I missed Grim reach. I know I had that. I don't think I had inproved Soul Drain though as it's not always used. Let me try again.

Awesome, thank you very much Pitbull! :) Thats a sweet build.

Could you just help me clarify something at the moment, please?

Right now my talents are at 0. So if I start to put them in should I just start with Affliction ONLY, then once I level & Ding should I stick the rest in the other Tree or should I just alternate each new skill level like for eg. At level 1 put one point in Affliction, Level 2 one point in Destro? :confused:
 
Who I did was I just took the buttons I know I press the most. And tried to build it from there.

example.

I used the instant dots , CoA, Corruption, SL as my main means of attack while leveling. Then I fear the Mob away and tag another. If my instant SB proc I use it.

The rest was aimed at Instances while leveling, dropping dots, then nuke SB's till i need to refresh the dots. So that is why the reducement on Spell casting time is there :o

That was my own little one i did when I logged in after the patch.

Aah ok, Gotcha now! Thank you Pitbull! You've helped clarify a few things for me! <3

I cant wait to get started now! :D
