Yeah bud "Afrihost" as an entire collective certainly could be liars...
Or maybe, just maybe, in the non-drama-llama world the employee who sent you this email made a mistake because they might have difficulty remembering the fine print of every product that they sell as it relates to a promotion.

Maybe it might be in your interests to just point this out politely and see what happens before you blow a blood vessel. Jassis.

I did and emailed to critical care line and they still say sorry. I just spoke to my friend he has moved to hetzner from afrihost and it's so much faster and better he said. When I called afrihost yesterday they took literally 20 minutes to take my id number, account number and phone down and then reconfirmed my phone number 5 minutes later pretended that he doesn't get it kept saying go slower. Was doing it on purpose name was Thabo if anyone knows him ask for another operator he is rude. They really are not trained properly.... It's as if they hire people from the streets. Go phone Hetzner and you can see they have a vast technical knowledge of everything.

If you have difficulty remembering fine print or not sure what it is, maybe just maybe check it up again or confirm with someone who does remember before emailing a customer?

Customers can be dramatic sure but these bigger companies tend to get away with a lot of this type of stuff

Unless you have access to the actual backend you cant state that categorically

A shared IP does not equate shared hosting

Reverse-proxied IP with SNI for URL redirection is a pretty good way to cut costs where IPv4 exhaustion is a thing

Fair enough.... But shared and dedicated is covered on that guarantee. I think rack hosting is not covered. anyways after all the hassles and they cannot help or even see what the problem is....I think I deserve at least a money back if not double money back.
