Warning of Eskom collapse

Honestly Eskom should just be able to go into the muni with the sheriff and start attaching infrastructure to sell just like any other agreement where one party doesn't fulfil their end.

Currently there are no consequences for these dysfunctional munis when they steal all the money and pile up debt. The voters should feel the direct consequences of their poor voting decisions when they vote in known thieves.

The infrastructure is useful and necessary for the muni to function though. So Eskom should rather be allowed to attach the employees.
Indentured servitude for the thieves that screwed up the muni?

Sounds incredible. They stole from the people, now they can slave away cleaning up all those neglected power stations.

Hopefully Eskom needs a pyramid built or something and these guys can drag giant stones up wooden ramps with no wheels all day?

But don't worry just increase taxes and put more levies and whatever others fees you can think of. We are more than happy to pay for the over staffed and overpaid workforce. We don't worry about the corruption paying R1000 a broom is acceptable for us all.

No illegal house or building should ever have been connected to any electrical or water service.

Firstly for the safety of residents because electricity kills!

Secondly, to develop SUSTAINABLE law abiding communities.

By connecting temporary squatter camps to electricity and water networks the ANC regime incentivised general lawlessness and a culture of non payment.

Fix it by bulldozing ALL illegal temporary squatter camps and start afresh by redeveloping proper residential areas where sustainable living can be provided to law abiding citizens.

Allocate title deeds and building loans from commercial banks, with government backup. For citizens to build their own houses, according to approved buildings plans and under supervision of Town and Regional planning professionals. After completion and approval for human occupation, may water and electricity services be connected.

That's the only way forward.
