Vodacom online and Vodacom walk in customer care are NOT the same people and can not help you than means any problems with you phone you need to call vodacom online for help. Our Nokia 920 which is two days old and did not work from day one now has to be sent back via couriers they will then check and return a new one (if they have stock) within 7 to 10 days. Yet you can not walk in to any Vodacom centre or shop for an exchange.. This is suppose to be a swap out. Have now been on the phone for over 30 minutes and they say they will phone back.. Lets see..

I am amazed that you think that posting on this forum is the "Magic Bullet" to resolve all the problems. I would seriously suggest a proactive step by calling the office of the CEO at 011-653 5000 and request to speak with any of the Executive Client Liaison department. :)

More of a warning to others. Also found out that Vodacom online is now just a franchise of Vodacom (no longer Vodacom Direct) Is this phone number for Vodacom Online or Vodacom? Thanks

It unambiguously states OFFICE THE CEO - Is that clear enough!!!!!!!!

Thanks for help but no use.. sent me from dept to dept and then said sorry can not help I must go to online..

Even if you got the phone from a shop, you would still have to wait 7-10 days for a replacement as they don't do in-store swap outs.

Was told that a swapout within 7 days of faulty phone for stores.. still waiting for couriers to call me to arrange collection now on 8 days.. best is every time i call vodacom online they cannot pick up on the systems a request to collect the phone..

They still haven't arranged collection that goes show they don't care about your business. If i was in your shoes I would cancnel the contract immediately cause you within your grace period.

They need to lodge another ticket for collection.

Gave up calling vodacom online to send couriers for collection.. my 1 hour old phone is now in for repairs..
