This is the thing i like to tank used to my lvl 70 druid.
But now i am trying diffrent tank class.
Specced hybrid some points in fury to decreace enemy attack power ruduces dmg on myself took improved thunder clap in arms spec for the same reason
and i took i few points in prot so i dont lose too much rage when changing stances(almost like furor talent for druids when the change forms).
But this is all still low lvl works great i can top dps sometimes and be good tankis this possible at higher lvls?

Hybrid waroir spec dont wanna go prot cause prot dmg suck and i own prot waroirs with almost full health on my druid.

Lvl 70 waroirs only.
 
I have no doubt in my mind that one can solo just fine in protection spec.

I'm doing it currently and having a blast. The excuse of not being able to quest or solo on protection spec is BS !

Fury Warriors = Wana be Rogues
Arms Spec = Wana be Tank and Wana be Rogue
Protection = TANK !
 
It might have been mentioned a few times before on this forum. To tank at level 70 you will need ALL the protection tree damage reduction and threat increasing tallents, in other words atleast 41 tallent points in protection. The ONLY exception to this is if you have Full T4 (preferably better) gear, and only plan to tank up to Karazhan. Your threat output will be quite low and you will be taking a lot more damage.
Go read the comments in Pitbull's thread. There is no such thing as a hybrid warrior, you either tank or your dps, else you suck. Sad but true...
 
My question is, what's a waroir?

Is it something like a warrior?

I despair when people cant even spell their own class.

Pertuz go read Ciderhelms tankspot, there is an appropriate thread on a 15k SS that serious damage in my book.

Ok so we can't all get there, but in my block set which is nothing special I can get round the dailies quickly enough spamming SS and Rev. Ok I will always be last to pure DPS classes but I dont ever have to sit down and reload.

But why roll at tank class if you dont want to be one? or roll a mage ppl call them glass tanks.

Well why did blizzard put in two diffrent spec and not just prot because from the sound of it you got tunnel visoin.

Blizzard has stated "not all specs are viable at everything"

It was alot worse Pre-TBC, where there were something like 9 viable raiding specs, now in TBC theres 27?

I myself have an enhance shammy, shadow priest and soon a retri pally... doesn't mean they will stay like that for pvp/pve

Yes there is 3 different tallent trees for warriors, pick one. Mix them up too much and you end up with a warrior that cant tank and cant dps. There is no such thing as a hybrid warrior. You wanted advise from a lvl 70 warrior, and you have recieved it. If you want to know about lvl 40 warriors go ask other level 40s but before level 60 you can tank with any spec, hell you can even tank without spending one single tallent point!

Sorry if you are not hearing what you want to hear, but there is no other way about it.

Drives me up the wall.
 
Try the official WoW forums.

It's full of rouges and enchantment shamans.
