So i've started a warrior (just cos the wotlk talents look so yummy :D)

Ive read guides that say arms is nice, others have said dual wield fury is better...

I'm lost atm :confused:

I wanna use a 2h till about 45, then spec dual wield (pref 2x flurry axes).

Could a veteran warrior explain/help me out :) ?

Arms = 2h
Fury = Dual wield.

Strange but I found that on my warrior I do allot more damage Dual Wielding on Protection spec. I just found that rather odd :D

Yup, I will need a respec :(

Pitbull could you link me a lvl 30 sword arms build (for 2h) ?

I lved as Arms up to about 64/65 can't remember exactly then switched to Proc and been there ever since (apart from the occasional arms/fury bg respecs). Always using the biggest nastiest 2h Axe or Sword I could find.

Still remember the day I got Groms Axe from Kara even as a Prot Warr I had to respec just to go banish it around in BG's. There was always something appealing about a big ass Axe, mortal strike and lots of blood, never been one for that pansy caster stuff :D

To answer your question not sure these days there is big debate between arms and fury and hybrids of both. Personally I think the dps talent tree is a bit of a mess could do with a serious revamp. It used to be that Fury was the way to go for PVE and arms for PVP but since the latest talent swops its all gone a bit pear shaped. My gut feel is that arms is probably still the best lving build or at least a safe option.

you do more damage because of the 1h weapon specialization in the tree .... I also found that strange so you not alone :)

I think it's also cos of the Rage gained on hits. I tried to spec back to fury just to lvl, but found I was dry on Rage all the time. Spec'd back to protection and I'm never dry on rage :D

For my warrior atm I leveled to 40 as arms (whirlwind axe ftw! still have it in bank, can't bring myself to sell it)
Then when I hit 40 went Fury DW spec. Took a bit of getting used to at first. Now I'm 63 and still Fury DW, I must say with my new outland greens with +hit I've become quite the lawnmower :D

I'll link some specs when i get home

Arms isn't a good leveling build for the simple fact you're so Rage starved constantly and your Rage generation is erratic.

Rather level as Fury.

I made the mistake of leveling Arms on my 1st Warrior and as a result mid-40's I stopped playing her.

I have spoken to alot of people about builds, and most advised me to go 2 handed fury till about 40/45ish.

After having a chat with the fury warrior in my old raiding guild (still good friends), he suggested a 2h fury build around slam

I wanna get the Whirlwind sword and put a mongoose on it :>

That Axe from Herod is Brilliant !
That is Whirlwind on Steroids :D

i lvled arms till 30 then went fury just one thing about going fury u need to keep ur weapons and armour up to date as u need to hit mobs fast and hard, speccing for a lot fo crit helps to as in the future when u get flurry it will be easier to take on mobs, it does get hard fighting mobs that are about 2-3 times ur lvl. Fury is the way to go to lvl imo
