I really think mine needs a good bath (too many times I game and eat snacks at the same time.. lol)

Have anyone done it before and did you use normal water to rinse it ?

I did it with a logitech G11 and well making sure it dried for about 3 days out of direct sunlight, but in a warm place. It was working just fine after that, so I would assume my G110 will survive the big DIP. :p

What a coincidence that you used to have a G11 because I currently have one now and decided against getting a G110 due to it being more or less the same thing but costing R800, decided to get a mechanical keyboard that I will get one of these days.

Just wash it the same way you did the G11. Pop all the keys off, get a bowl with warm water mixed with a little handyandy dip them all in it, rinse with water, dry with a towel and hair dryer, make sure to blow the water out of the bottom the the keys before reinserting.

Also taking a vacuum cleaner and sucking up all the dirt under where the keys are is also good.

Otherwise this should help: http://www.howtogeek.com/65073/how-to-thoroughly-clean-your-keyboard-without-breaking-anything/

There's many guide son the net for washing and cleaning a keyboard, I even spot one asking if keyboards are dishwasher safe lol, good luck.

Shot, Thanks NomNom ... gonna do the deed this weekend..

** as for G11 & G110 the G11 is a better keyboard if you need to use the arrow keys (like in racing Trackmania)... but both keyboards I had no ghosting from what I can tell.

Anyhow, if however you see bubbles in posts or white spaces, you know I used too much HandyAndy or JIK :D

I did it to a work keyboard (cheap R60.00 version) ...

Popped all the keys, shoved it in the bath and rinsed it out - looked amazing! I dried it for a few days and when I took it back to the office, everyone said it wouldn't work. Slowly plugged it in ... and bingo! Worked!

... and then died about 5 days later for some reason :(

Drowsy one morning, I was sitting at my pc with a big mug of hot coffee next to the keyboard.
I picked it up to take a sip, but in doing so the base of mug nicked the keyboard edge, tipping about a half of the hot coffee over the keyboard.
I dried it with a paper towel but a few keys did not work.
After a few hours though the keyboard was fully functional again. Evaporation or something.
Funny how resilient the stuff can be.
