don't these dash cams record sound as well? i am sure the guys were talking in there and some clues could be picked up.
Seems to be off a dash cam , abandoned the car ,and some one uploaded the footage

Depends on the settings, most people have it setup to record video only without sound

Chinese woman unharmed in Joburg dashcam robbery

Johannesburg - Three armed robbers were caught on camera when they robbed a Chinese national in her car in Kensington, Johannesburg on Tuesday.
A dashcam video of the robbery has gone viral.
News24 understands she was not injured in the attack, which happened in Langerman Drive. The woman was sitting in her car at a traffic light when armed men wearing balaclavas jumped out of a silver Audi stopped in front of her. The video shows them pointing guns at her before disappearing off screen.
She opened a case at the Cleveland police station, News24 was told.
The registration number of the Audi is believed to be DF78WJ GP.
Gauteng police said they had no knowledge of a video doing the rounds. Police spokesperson Captain Tsekiso Mofokeng asked for a link of the video to be sent to him so he could get more information of the incident.
