My father just installed a T.V Tuner Card on his P.C and I was wondering if it was at all possible for me to "watch" through the network what's playing on his P.C.

Thanks

Could be possible to stream the feed using something like VLC.

I downloaded VLC but cannot get it to work?

I'm finding it all a bit  . Okay I downloaded this onto his P.C.

Now what?

I got it to stream out of his P.C( I think) now how do I "capture" it on my P.C

I see there's a linux version as well. Can I use this application if I have a TV Card in a Windows PC, and want to stream TV to a Linux PC?

Yes. Also if the card works in Linux you could do it the other way around as well.

You use the Wizard to create the stream. On the PC's you want to open the stream from you go to File-> Open network stream.

Cool.....thanks a lot man....I'll look into it. I just my 54Mbps wifi is quick enough to stream the TV 'broadcast'.
