Watching DSTV Catchup on TV via PS3

First off, please don't crucify me if this is the wrong place to post this question

Can I watch DSTV catchup via PS3? I can do it on PC, but sometimes a girl needs a big screen.

Here's what I have: Samsung TV (not smart TV), PS3 (with internet connection), full DSTV package (old single view).

I can connect to the Playstation store and the Youtube "app" works just fine on the PS3, but I can't browse. Google opens up but nothing else. I get a message that The security of the page cannot be confirmed and then either An error occurred during server authentication or The CN server certificate does not match the host name followed by Yes, No, or Display Certificate.

Is it not possible to do this and am I barking up the wrong tree here :erm:

I can browse the internet from both my PS3's with wired connects, although I use it mostly for Plex.

A girl can always invest in a Chromecast or if the PC have HDMI out, then simply connect this to your TV...

On a PC you sometimes get those messages when the date/time is set wrong ... Is there perhaps a setting on the PS3 to set dates ?

The error for Google is most probably the date on the ps3 is wrong
