Watchmen demo uninstall hell.

I installed the Watchmen demo but it had some errors so I decided to uninstall it. I noticed the uninstall was taking quite some time so I looked at what files it was deleting and when I noticed Counter strike files were being deleted, I realised something was wrong and ended the process. I noticed I suddenly had 11 gigs more than I expected freed up by removing Watchmen.

Watchmen uninstall effectively sabotaged my whole PC. It deleted (not uninstalled) 11 gigs of files. The last 50 programs in my start menu don't work anymore. So now I'm going to spend the night formatting to get everything back how it was.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Sorry to hear this, i downloaded the demo and finished it & eventually uninstalled with no problems.

Holy crap, 50 installed programs, maybe the demo thought it can help free your pc's of all those programs and give it some breathing space

Jokes aside, sorry to hear it as well, haven't even watched the movie yet, but will steer clear from this demo.
