Hey all ...

I am looking at buying some water cooling parts for my current PC ... Starting with a loop for my GPU and then later moving to CPU ...

Where is the best place to buy proper watercooling in South Africa as most online stores have terribly old watercooling blocks ... etc ...

All information would be greatly appreciated.
Regards.

Have a look at LandmarkPC. If they don't have what you're looking for, you can perhaps ask them to get some for you.

Otherwise you may want to have a look at like Carbonite.co.za and pool in with a few others to import the components.

I haven't built a custom water cooling loop myself, so I won't really be able to help you out more than what I've said above.

For a full GPU block you'd have to e-mail them and they'll order it for you. They're the official supplier for XSPC in SA, so they'll be able to get anything in the range for you, provided you can wait a little bit.

Besides Titan and Landmark there isnt much choice, and many people will still go for importing from PerformancePCS or FrozenCPU

What are you trying to cool (and in which case)? And is the aim to reach max overclocks, silence, or a little of both?

I will be emailing Titan and XS-PC ... thanks for the links ...

@Archer

I am trying to cool my GTX 680 and my 2500k ... ... Right now the 2500k has a Silver Arrow strapped to it so I am not worried about that even though it is @ 4.8ghz ...

The main problem is that my GTX 680 has been hitting 80C and causing graphic errors in FC3 and Crysis 3 ... (which it never did before in FC3) ...

I am looking for good cooling for stable overclocks ... (GTX 680 @1200mhz and 2500 @4.8ghz)

If all you're after is good overclocks then a triple 120/140 rad with fans on medium to high speed will be ample for one GPU + CPU. I run a triple 140, with fans at 500rpm and I dont think I've ever seen my GPU go over 50°C, even on hot summer days

The XSPC full cover block will be a good choice too (there isnt really much in it between manufacturers besides a little less flow restriction and aesthetics)

The issue is that a standard 120.x or 140.x will look off in my system as my fans are 180mm ... That is why I am trying to see what else I can get my hands on ... The XSPC block is decent ... but there is definitely better (then again they are much more pricey)

You do get 180 rads, but I'm 99% certain that'll be an import job. And although you can cool CPU and GPU off one 180, it'll be toasty. GPU only though should be decent. What case do you have? Almost all have space for a 240 rad somewhere

I definitely have space for a 240 ... But like I said ... it just looks a bit odd in my opinion ...

I was looking at getting a 180.2 which is the same as a 360rad (120.3) ... so it is more than enough for a CPU+GPU loop ... later I can still add another 120 rad which means I would have 480mm of rad space ... :p

It seems it will definitely be an import job though ... man ... sometimes I wish I wasn't a full time student ...

I need to take new pictures of my rig ... but here are 2 pictures, I changed speakers since the pic was taken and I need to get some decent extension cables but in typical SA fashion, no supplier has stock ...

Make sure you've got the clearance at the bottom for your GPU - the only 180 rad I know of is 35mm thick. Looks like it'll be fine, but at those angles I cant be sure.

Yes, I've gotten everything thats in my current PC from them (PPCS and FrozenCPU), as well as some of the bits for my next PC already

Are your games and drivers upto date?

Have you even installed EVGA Precision?

My GTX460 hits 83 in some games like crysis and I dont get any artifacts, Have you considered that your GPU could be faulty?
